This class offers modifications in every pose, making it a "choose your own adventure" where you'll connect deeply to your body and find the confidence to move in a way that truly resonates. We often hear that our mat practice reflects our life – so how often do we actually practice doing whatever the f*ck we want? This class is an opportunity for all women to tap into their intuition and discover their authentic voice. Here, permission comes from within. We don’t bite our tongues, we make some noise. We don’t look to others for guidance, we do what feels good. We don’t push through pain, we honor our bodies. We don’t strive for perfection, we embrace self-compassion. We tune out external pressures, ditch the "shoulds," and connect with our inner wisdom on the mat, empowering you to be your truest, most confident self off the mat.
Discover the power of gentle touch and mindful breathing in this transformative two-hour workshop. This restorative yoga experience incorporates gentle movement, multiple breathwork practices, and guided meditation to guide you into a state of deep relaxation. You'll learn to identify how emotional stress and physical strain manifest in your body, gaining valuable insights into your unique patterns of discomfort. A key focus will be on self-massage techniques using effective bodywork tools like a massage ball and gua sha, empowering you to release tension and cultivate spaciousness. You'll also benefit from plenty of opportunities for supportive hands-on adjustments from Leah. Experience the immediate reward of feeling like you've just had a full body massage. More importantly, you'll walk away with a foundational understanding of your body's needs and practical self-care tools – breathwork, self-massage – that you can use for a lifetime, fostering a sense of limitless potential within your own body. Leave feeling empowered, deeply connected, and ready to continue your personal healing journey.
*Students are encouraged to sign up for both classes, turning this into a mini "daytreat" of movement and rest*
Each month we select a book to read and gather at the studio to discuss as a community. Free to participate. BYOB. Check out our Instagram for this month’s book and meeting info.
One Friday per month, we host a parent’s night out, where you get to plan a fun date night, meet up with your friends, or simply get some peace and quiet at home, while we’ve got your kids. These fun nights start with getting the wiggles out on the mat with a little yoga, followed by pizza and a movie. Check out our socials or FitDegree for more details.
